Adrian Burden

I try to feature artist who have in some way shaped or inspired how I create my art. If you were to ask who has been a major inspiration to me on that list would definitely be Adrian Burden. 

I originally met Adrian in Oct 2013 when he responded to an invite put out by Andy Porter for a backpacking trip through the Enchantments in Washington State. He talked about his goals that included backpacking the entire John Muir Trail and climbing mountains - he accomplished both. Over the years I've watched Adrian post amazing photos from his adventures. His unique style stands out among a sea of photographers as a reminder that every landscape has a different perspective. Adrian inspired me to push my limits and study the rules of composition so I know how to break them and tell a whole new story.
